Thank you for exploring our website! I am very excited and privileged to be called as the minister of Mount Zion Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. When I think about the ministry of our Church my mind immediately goes to Psalm 115:1 “Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but Your name give glory, for the sake of Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness!”

It is because of the Lord’s steadfast love and faithfulness to us that we are able to be faithful to Him, to His Word, and to the preaching of the gospel of His saving power and grace. The message of the gospel is what God uses to lead people to experience the joy and assurance of forgiveness of sin and inner peace through faith in Jesus Christ by His death and glorious resurrection.

We endeavour to make our Church a place that strengthens families, that has a Christ-centered ministry, which offers Bible-based preaching and teaching, where great gospel hymns are sung and where you can worship and meet with God. We believe the basis of a “Christ-centered” ministry is to fulfill the words of Jesus in John 12:32, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to Myself.”  Our desire is that you and your family would be drawn to Christ for your spiritual life, refreshment, and future hope. Rev. Michael Jaatinen graduated from Geneva Reformed Seminary in Greenville, SC in 2003. He is an ordained minister in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and has ministered in Free Presbyterian Churches, United Reformed Churches, Canadian Reformed Churches, and Free Reformed Churches.
